Inflatable Slipover Packer

For artificially gravel packed water bore designs, we have developed the AGE Inflatable Slipover Packer as an ideal solution for sealing screens into the casing.

Our Inflatable Slipover Packers are designed to be run in and inflated after screen installation and artificial gravel pack placement. It seals internally onto the screen riser through the use of a rubber M-packer and seals externally into the water bore casing through the use of an inflatable packer. The packer is run in, inflated with and disengaged from through the use of an AGE setting tool run in on drill pipe; a simple one-shot process.

AGE Inflatable Slipover Packers have an advantage over alternate products – they are able to be deflated and returned to the surface of the bore at any time. This enables artificial gravel pack top-up after test pumping, or even after years of pumping should the gravel pack slump exposing un-gravel packed screens to the aquifer formation. Once at the surface, the slipover packer valves are reset and the slipover packer is ready for re-deployment in the bore for continued service.

All water bore equipment is manufactured from stainless steel materials and potable water grade rubber compounds compliant to AS/NZS:4020.
