Geotechnical Equipment

The permeability of strata is an important parameter in the design of dams, mines, tunnels, buildings and many other civil works.

Permeability is best determined in-situ by measurement of the flow of a known fluid into or out of the strata of interest. Inflatable packers are often used to isolate a zone for permeability testing.

AGE Developments manufacture a complete range of packers for these applications including wireline packers for use with wireline coring systems.

AGE also supply all the ancillary equipment required for these tests, including flow meter assembly and pressure gauges.
